Solar Charging System

The Ensave Solar Charging Station is a clean-energy system that transfers electricity generated by solar panels directly to electric vehicles, or stores it in lithium batteries for vehicle charging and household electricity needs.

Photovoltaic System: A photovoltaic system generates electricity from sunlight falling on solar panels. It forms the foundation of the Ensave Solar Charging Station. Solar generation supports environmentally responsible electric mobility without combustion emissions during electricity production. Easy-to-install modular options are available for suitable gardens, as well as roof-mounted configurations.

Ensave Solar Charging Unit: Built-in inverter technology converts solar energy into AC electricity for immediate vehicle charging without storage, including in the entry-level model. Higher-specification models can store energy using Zpower lithium battery technology. Solar panels and Zpower storage can be expanded to meet the required generation and storage capacity, making energy available at different times of day. Alongside standard models, Ensave charging units can be customised for power output, storage capacity, socket type and outlet orientation.

Zpower Energy Storage System: Zpower products use lithium battery technology for efficient, long-lasting energy storage. They require no routine battery maintenance and can operate independently of Ensave products. The system stores electricity supplied by Ensave or the grid for use when needed. In addition to standard products, systems can be manufactured to meet specific capacity, dimensional and feature requirements.

Practical Use Cases

Daytime Charging

With the Ensave basic model, solar energy is used to charge the vehicle as it is generated. Energy is not stored for later use. This suits workplace grounds and car parks where overnight charging is not required.

Night-time Charging

The Ensave unit includes integrated ZPower storage. Energy generated by solar panels during the day is stored for use at night, ready when the vehicle needs charging.

Multiple Applications

Solar energy is stored in the Ensave unit for vehicle charging. Surplus energy can be stored separately in a Zpower Energy Storage System for the home or workplace, ready when needed.

Vehicle-to-Home Energy

If your electric vehicle supports V2H (Vehicle-to-Home), a compatible system can make vehicle energy available for use in your home. This can help during extended periods of low solar generation or grid outages.

Exporting to the Grid

When generation exceeds demand, a suitable system can export surplus energy to the grid. Grid export is subject to legal requirements and must be assessed under the regulations applicable to the installation location.

Roadside Charging Support

Mobile charging vehicles provide energy support when an electric vehicle runs out of charge on the road.
